ON TRANSLATING TECHNOLOGY
As a Senior Copywriter in the tech sector, I’ve translated complex products and systems into clear, compelling language that people can understand and act upon. My work spans product marketing, web and landing pages, lifecycle and email campaigns, UX copy, and long-form editorial, all designed to support growth, adoption, and retention.
I’ve partnered closely with product, design, and engineering teams to shape messaging from the inside out, aligning brand voice with product functionality and user behavior. From early-stage positioning to go-to-market execution, I approach every project with a focus on clarity, structure, and performance.
In fast-moving environments where precision matters, I’ve developed messaging frameworks, refined user journeys, and produced copy that not only communicates value but reinforces trust. The goal is always the same: to make complex ideas feel intuitive, and to ensure that every word serves both the user and the business.
Cart.com: OOH Love Letter Campaign
The Challenge: Cart.com sought to build greater awareness and differentiation within the highly competitive e-commerce and logistics landscape while communicating the breadth of its capabilities in a way that felt human, memorable, and unexpected. The challenge was to transform what could easily become a technical B2B message into creative that would capture attention in an OOH environment, resonate with growth-focused commerce brands, and position Cart.com as the ultimate, fiercely supportive partner for ambitious DTC and B2B businesses.
My Role + Approach: As Senior Copywriter, I helped develop the creative strategy and concept for Cart.com’s “Love Letters” campaign, leading the conceptual development, headline writing, and overall narrative execution. Rather than communicating Cart.com’s capabilities through conventional B2B language, the campaign borrowed the familiar emotional language and structure of a love letter, creating an unexpected contrast between human sentiment and the realities of e-commerce/commerce operations/fulfillment — juxtaposing deep romantic adoration with the practical mechanics of supply chains and warehouse management. I developed dozens of high-impact campaign lines, headlines, supporting copy, messaging frameworks, and/or executions, working closely with art directors and brand designers to translate the concept into a cohesive OOH campaign designed for immediate comprehension and memorability.
The Solution: The resulting “Love Letters” campaign transformed Cart.com’s value proposition into a distinctive creative platform built for high-impact public environments. Through concise, personality-driven copy and a bold, minimalist, text-first visual approach, the work made Cart.com’s offering more approachable while giving the brand a recognizable voice within a category often dominated by functional and technical messaging. The campaign connected each critical Cart.com capability/service with the emotional idea of unwavering devotion and dedication, creating a concept that could communicate business value while remaining clever, culturally relevant, and distinctly human.
Campaign Deliverables & Outcome: The campaign resulted in a fully developed OOH creative system centered on the “Love Letters” platform. The final work included 3 core original concepts, 15+ distinct OOH executions, over 30 unique campaign headlines, a suite of supporting digital assets, and a comprehensive launch playbook, establishing a flexible creative framework that could extend across major metropolitan growth hubs. Following launch, the campaign immediately broke through B2B advertising fatigue. It generated over 12 million impressions, contributed to a 34% increase in website traffic/brand awareness/engagement, and drove a notable spike in direct inbound partner inquiries. The work also successfully shifted industry perception, establishing Cart.com as a brand that genuinely cares about its clients' growth rather than just their transaction volume.
